This year, over 14 lakh students from across India and CBSE-affiliated international schools appeared for the exams, which were conducted between February and April 2025. The declaration of results brings relief and anticipation for students who have been eagerly waiting to see the outcome of their hard work.
The CBSE Class 12 results are crucial as they play a pivotal role in determining students’ next academic or career steps. Based on these results, students seek admission into undergraduate programs in various universities, apply for scholarships, or begin preparations for competitive exams like JEE, NEET, CUET, and others.
CBSE has taken significant steps this year to ensure easy and quick access to the results, offering them via official websites, mobile applications, and digital lockers. This has helped prevent technical glitches and traffic overloads, which were common in previous years.

Official Websites to Check Results
Students can view and download their results from the following official CBSE portals:
To access the results, students need to enter their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth.
Moreover, to facilitate a paperless and secure experience, students will also receive their digital marksheets and certificates via DigiLocker and the UMANG app—a move in line with the Government of India’s Digital India initiative.
The board has also assured that students facing any issues while checking their results or finding discrepancies in marksheets will have access to grievance redressal and re-evaluation processes shortly after the results announcement.
